The Rías Baixas Designation of Origin is a small area in the north-west of Spain, in which 5,046 vine-growers, over 170 wineries and 5 sub-zones continue today a thousand-year-old tradition practising time-honoured vine-growing methods and growing grape varieties that are indigenous to our region.

Our region is particularly conducive to vine-growing and is perfectly adapted to the production of the highest quality Albariño grapes. It is this unique terroir, backed up by the highest standards of wine-growing and a process of constant innovation, which explains the excellent quality and renown of the wines of D.O. Rías Baixas.
